I'm Irina V., the breeder behind Homegrown Beagles located in Susanville, CA. They love chasing after the scent of rabbits. Hunting season is probably their favorite. When we aren't out hunting, they love going on hikes with us and camping. Chasing each other in the yard at home is what they love most. While they love rabbit hunting, they adore our cats and love to lick them. Living on a farm is fun for them. They are happy, funny, up for adventure babies.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+8I found Irina by searching the web for a beagle breeder and was so blessed to find Irina and Homegrown Beagles. Irina answered all my questions regarding her puppies promptly. Upon reviewing her puppies that were available, we immediately fell in love with Blue (Penny)!! Penny looked to be so sweet, soft and cuddly. Penny was all that and so so so much more. Irina even sent me a video of our sweet girl. Purchasing the puppy was beyond easy. At nine - ten weeks Penny is so smart she can sit, stay, come, is crate trained and mostly potty trained.
