I'm Voni H., the breeder behind Homestead Bernedoodles located in Lancaster, PA. We specialize in family-raised and loved Bernedoodle puppies. We love the berendoodle breed and puppy snuggles and we love sharing both with others! If you are looking for a family-raised Bernedoodle, we have some sweet puppies for you! Our family has two momma dogs, who are our pets. Our dogs have free roam of our large yard and they are never locked in a kennel. We enjoy raising a Bernedoodle litter or two every year with our family. We have a bunch of kids so our dogs and our puppies receive loads of attention and snuggles.

  • GM2 Gangliosidosis, Poodle Type, Osteochondrodysplasia, Miniature Poodle Type, Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Voni and her family were so wonderful to work with. Voni was very patient to answer all the questions we had, which definitely helped the us a lot in transitioning of owning a pet.     I cannot say enough wonderful things about Voni and her family. She was very informative, kind, and helped me through this entire process. We are in love with our dog Daisy. she has such a wonderful temperament and is amazing with our kids, other dogs, and people. You can tell she was raised in a home with love, and she was handled by her six children daily and introduced to things like a vacuum for one small example. At least weekly we got pictures of our girl before we went to get her. On pickup you could simply just feel how loved and cared for this litter of puppies was and I am so grateful and blessed to have been able to bring of her dogs home to our family.     Voni was great to work with! She was knowledgeable and responded quickly, answering all our of questions and updated us regularly with pictures of our puppy. You can tell her and her family truly care and put a lot of effort into the puppies and Cooper was well-socialized when he came home. Our vet said he was in great health and was very well taken care of. We are so happy with our new addition!

I have worked with other breeders in the past and they can't compare to the service and responsiveness Voni has provided....Voni is very hospitable and friendly....She stayed in touch regularly sending us weekly updates on Liberty (new name - Libby) including pictures and videos....She worked really well with socializing her with others including children....Libby was house broken within the first 10 days of having her, which is amazing being only 10 weeks old....She has learned to sit, lay down, fetch and sit, leaving the toy at our feet, and she gets her treat, which she loves...Again, we could not say enough about Voni and our experience....I would highly recommend her and Good God for anyone who is looking to adopt a Bernedoodle.
