I'm Amy D., the breeder behind Honey Loaf Corgis located in Roseville, CA. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed by focusing on DNA testing and temperament!
Q. & A. with Amy
Why did you start breeding?
At first, we didn’t plan on breeding until we found out Ellie had such a loving & calm temperament. Because of her calm and loving personality and temperament, we thought would be great to pass on to her pups. Her couch potato temperament + Leo’s energetic working personality we felt would be a great combo for future families of all lifestyles.
What makes your program special?
We make sure our puppies are handled early from day 1. We also expose them to different sounds, smells, and textures so they can be used to a lot of things (like the evil vacuum), when they arrive at their new homes! We make sure they get lots of socialization and training to where they’re able to go to their new homes and sleep throughout the night without any issues!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
