I'm Jodee H., the breeder behind Horseman Hilltop Labradors and Jodee's Frenchies located in Platte City, MO. Located in beautiful Platte City, Missouri, HHL is dedicated to raising healthy, AKC standard labradors and French Bulldogs. All our dogs are raised in a loving family environment. We're breeding for Trainability, Hunting, Show, and Family companions. As they say, our dogs and puppies are definitely a man and womans's best friends. All of our dogs are genetically sound, including OFA and CERF guarantees. We combine beauty and intelligence with companion dispositions.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started showing Labradors in AKC conformation events which lead me to my breeding program. Keeping puppies to continue to show my lines and to share with other families.

  • What makes your program special?

    My puppies are raised in a loving family environment. I health test before I do any breedings. Making sure I'm breeding healthy, good temperament beautiful puppies.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our French Bulldog puppies are brindle. Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Jodee

Jodee partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)
