I'm Kevin C., the breeder behind Hound Kings located in Las Vegas, NV. We are a small family-owned breeder specializing in beagles. We started breeding beagles, a few years ago because we wanted to share the joy and love that these amazing animals bring to our lives.

Why did you start breeding?
Wanting to share the amazing personality of our beloved Duke was the inspiration behind us getting in to breeding as friends and family encouraged us to do so due to our love and passion for animals and our beagles.What makes your program special?
People often ask what it’s like at our house, and the truth is—our dogs run the show. Our home is not a kennel; it’s their kingdom. The pups have full access to the yard, they stretch out across the couch, and more often than not, we find ourselves politely negotiating for a spot to sit. Our fur babies have more beds, toys and belongings than we have.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red black and white, red and white, blue and white, black fawn and white, brown white and tan, lemon and white, and blue tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kevin partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“The price includes AKC certification, AKC reunite microchip, first round of shots, dewormed, vet approved health check prior to receiving your new fur baby and our pet guarantee. All of our puppies are different prices based on sex, color, size and registration. All puppies come with AKC registration and vet health check.”

Program update on 26 May •…Meet Ginger — our beautiful red and white beagle girl from Hound Kings. Ginger has unexpectedly become available again through absolutely no fault of her own, and we know she is going to make the perfect addition to a very lucky family’s furever plans. She is being raised in our home with plenty of love, attention, and socialization to help ensure a smooth transition into her new home. Ginger has a sweet personality, beautiful coloring, and the playful, affectionate temperament we strive for in all of our puppies. Program update on 25 May •…Our last male. Honestly the one with the best personality. It’s shocking Pickles is the last one standing. He has a unique coloring, usually by now our red and whites start showing their red more and he still has a gray look shadowing the white.

Marley is a beagle with an incredible nose—her keen sense of smell can track down just about anything. Though small in stature, it allows her to have great athleticism, especially her remarkable jumping ability. More than just her talents, Marley has been the perfect addition to both our home and our breeding program. She is truly the heart and soul of our pack—when the dogs are outside, Marley consistently outperforms the rest with her energy, drive, and enthusiasm. She embodies everything we love about the beagle breed: intelligence, determination, and a playful spirit.

Skye – She embodies the best of the breed with her affectionate temperament, athletic ability, and unique coloring. Skye is extremely loving and thrives on human connection—once you start petting her, she’ll make sure you never stop! Her athleticism sets her apart. Agile and quick, Skye shows great potential for activities such as agility courses and dock diving. She has a natural love for water and can’t resist jumping into the pool, making her an excellent candidate for water-based sports. Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Musladin-Leuke Syndrome (MLS)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Kevin and Leah were extremely pleasant and easy to work with. They helped explain all options for picking up my puppy, and the transportation options. I ultimately ended up meeting them at the airport and flying home with my puppy. The experience was extremely easy, and they were right on time and very easy to meet with. My puppy Bodie is an amazing, cute, and wonderful beagle. I’m very happy I chose to get him from them. They were extremely loving with him, and sent lots of videos and photos well I waited for him to be old enough to pick up. I would recommend them if you’re looking for a beagle puppy.

Kevin and Leah were incredible the entire time! They communicated every step of the way once we committed to our boy. They are loving and caring to their puppies, it shows in their personalities. We got pictures almost daily which helped us connect to him before we even met him! The more logistical stuff has also been very easy and Leah answered every questions promptly to help us out! I felt to prepared pick up our pup, and his first night was amazing. He was the best temperament I’ve seen in a puppy and slept his whole first night no whining. I could not recommend Leah, Kevin, and family more (the hound king)! If we ever get another beagle, we’ll be back:)!!! Thank you all so much!!!

Kevin, Leah and their whole family, is what sets them apart from any other breeder. These are NOT just liters of dogs to them, they are family, each and every one of them. The socialization they completed with them before we got to bring “Honey Bun” home, made all the difference in the world, on how well she is doing in her new environment and us. Our last beagle was from a store, and it is night and day different. The love and work they put in with them for the last 8 weeks is phenomenal! She is already going to her potty area on her own, she is not timid or scared to meet people, and eager to follow us anywhere to explore. That only comes because of the work the Cook family put in first. Honey Bun has made our family whole again!! The process was so smooth due to their organization. And it was amazing how in touch with us they stayed. I got messages, pictures or videos almost everyday leading up to her coming home with us, just amazing!! Always within minutes they answered all questions or concerns we had as we prepared for Honey Buns arrival. The help they gave us on what foods and chews they were using, so I could get ahead of time. The prep of having food, toys, written information like vet records, all ready to go with us on pick up day was greatly appreciated!! Helping me get the right vet and setting up her 1st appointment for her 8 week shots yesterday also took a load off my mind. We feel like the Cooks are family to us. Honey Bun is now settled in as the Queen of the House, and we couldn’t be happier!! Thank you so much!!

Five Stars — Hound Kings (Teddy, born early 2026) After nearly 18 wonderful years with our first Beagle, Dexter, we knew we wanted another one in our lives, and we couldn’t be happier we found Hound Kings through Good Dog. From the moment we learned about Kevin and Leah’s litter, the experience was exceptional. She kept us updated with photos as the puppies grew, stayed on top of all vaccinations, and made sure the puppies were well socialized within their family environment. By the time we picked up Teddy, Leah had all his paperwork, care instructions, and supplies ready to go — she clearly cares deeply about her dogs and about setting new owners up for success. Saying goodbye to her was bittersweet, but Teddy made the five-hour drive home like a champ, sleeping most of the way on my wife’s lap. Four months later, Teddy is an absolute joy. He’s tripled in size, he’s playful and affectionate, and he’s already showing that classic Beagle personality — he loves baths and grooming (not always a given!), plays catch and sprints around the yard, and is doing great with potty training as he starts learning to walk on a leash. We can’t thank Kevin, Leah and Hound Kings enough for bringing such a healthy, happy, well-socialized puppy into our family. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a Beagle from a breeder who genuinely cares about their dogs
