I'm Kylee and Camryn O., the breeder behind Howdy Doodles located in Elizabeth City, NC. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Labradoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Bordoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Labradoodle puppies include chocolate and black. Bordoodle puppies include white and red merle, white and red, white and gold, white and blue merle, white and black, red merle, red, gold, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kylee and Camryn partners with them to find the best puppy match.
"When the puppies are three weeks old we do puppy picking day! You’re welcome to visit our home during this time, or do a FaceTime call and pick your puppy in order of when you were approved and deposit was placed."

About Pooky
Pooky is our beautiful F1 Labradoodle with a striking chocolate merle abstract coat and a soft, loose wavy texture that produces minimal shedding. She has a wonderful balance of the Labrador and Poodle traits that make Labradoodles so beloved. Health and temperament are extremely important to us, and Pooky reflects that. She is genetically health tested and cleared through Embark, and she has also completed PennHIP testing with above average results, giving us confidence in her structure and long-term soundness. Personality-wise, Pooky is an absolute joy to be around. She is a goofy, playful girl who loves to have fun but also carries that classic laid-back Labrador personality. She tends to be a little aloof in that relaxed Lab way, easygoing, happy, and always up for a good belly rub. Above all, she is incredibly sweet and affectionate, making her a wonderful companion dog. Pooky passes along a combination of great temperament, strong health testing, and a beautiful easy-care coat, which are qualities we are proud to include in our program.

About Ivy
Ivy is a sweet, affectionate Border Collie with the kind of temperament that makes the breed so special. She has the classic Border Collie love of play and activity, she adores running, chasing a ball, and is currently learning to catch a frisbee. Watching her enthusiasm and athleticism is a joy. While Ivy enjoys being active outdoors, she also has a wonderfully balanced personality. Inside the house she’s calm, relaxed, and happiest curled up for a nap or snuggling with her people. She truly has that ideal “off switch” that makes her a wonderful companion. Ivy represents the loving, loyal, and intelligent temperament we value so much in our dogs, playful and engaged when it’s time for fun, but gentle and content when it’s time to relax. She is a 42lb blue Merle tri with two striking blue eyes. She has great genetic and health testing and good OFA hip and elbow results.

About Hamlet
Hamlet is a super cute boy, he’s spunky and sweet, loves giving kisses! He is an apricot parti poodle. Genetic testing and good hip and elbow results through OFA. He does carry a couple things in his genetics, but we always breed him with fully clear females so no puppies are affected.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Coat/Trait Panel, Animal Genetics Panel, Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
