Meet the breeder

I'm Kerynn G., the breeder behind Hundeity Great Danes located in Denison, TX. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

Q. & A. with Kerynn

  • Why did you start breeding?

The Great Dane was a originally known as the Deutsche Dogge, bred for protection and hunting in Germany. The breed is a domestic dog of mastiff-size. They are commonly known as the "Apollo of dogs". The regal appearance, strength, and elegance with great size and a powerful, well-formed, smoothly muscled body are one of the largest working breeds, most unique in conformation, and one of the friendliest natured canines. They are loyal and seek affection from there loved ones consistently. This loyal and loving temperament combined with their minimal energy levels is one of a kind. A Great Dane’s goal is to always be with you and love you for their entire life. Unfortunately, their life span may not be as long as other breeds but the short time you do enjoy with this outstanding companion overfills a hole in your heart like you never thought was imaginable.
  • What makes your program special?

Hundeity is all about producing stately grace, noble, and the most gentle giants. In a beautiful variety of solids, mantles, harlequins, merles, and piebalds all in blue, blue fawn, and black. We have carefully added to our kennel each and every one of our Danes. They carry bloodlines from some of the most reputable breeders in the US, while some even carry bloodlines from other parts of the world. Our goal is to produce not only top quality heavier style European Danes with a balance of American elegance, but also produce the best temperament and structurally sound Great Danes.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include mantle merle, blue brindle, blue and white, black and white, brindle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
