I'm Jennifer R., the breeder behind Hunterberry Hill Labradoodles located in Salem, OR. Hunterberry Hill Labradoodles is proudly owned and operated, since 2014, by mother and daughter team, Jennifer Rowland and Avery Nelson. We are not breeders in a kennel or facility; guardian homes allow our breeding dogs to live with a family in their forever homes. All of our sweet puppies are raised here in our home, with our family, where they are socialized and given an abundance of love!

About Everest
It doesn’t take too much guessing to figure out who this boy’s daddy is – he is the spitting image of our Anderson!! Everest is a very special boy who carries the legacy of passing on his dad’s bloodlines and traits to the next generation for us since Anderson has retired from breeding. I have no doubts that this boy is going to do a wonderful job of following in his daddy’s pawprints! He is just wonderful in every way! He boasts the same ultra-silky soft nonshedding fleece coat, in a beautiful lustrous shade of deep red. His color is only becoming more beautiful and richer with age. Everest has an incredible temperament with an ideal balance between being sociable and playful, while also being very cuddly and laid back. He is a sweet and obedient boy who aims to please. We are so happy that he has passed all of his health testing in order to join our lineup of stud boys here at Hunterberry Hill.
Excellent health testing

About Laney
Our dear Laney is the sweetest little bundle of joy! Laney know no strangers. Her happy tail wagging wiggles are just the best. She is happiest beside you curled up on the couch. When she comes to have her puppies she settles right in and gets along with all the other doodles so nicely. Her guardian family adores her and reports she is the perfect dog!

About Porter
Porter is an adorable dark chocolate mini Australian Labradoodle. He’s sweet, spunky, gregarious and goofy. Porter never meets a stranger, and he loves car rides and adventures! He is so sweet and social, he is always sure to make new friends wherever he goes. He embodies the happy, cheery spirit of the labradoodle that we love so much. Porter is also highly intelligent, and has the most expressive human-like eyes! He is always ready to play, but he also knows how to cuddle up and settle in when it comes time to relax!

About Mavis
Mavis is our keeper girl from Meadow and Moose’s final litter together. This special girl is a carbon copy of her daddy Moose in so many ways!! She has his ultra soft chocolate curls, extremely loving personality, and ultra stocky, heavy build. For being a mini, this little girl is a lead weight!! We love that about her – it is always exciting for us when we can breed that stocky, lab-like build with broad chest and blocky head, even in the miniature size range. She is absolutely gorgeous with her dark, nonfading chocolate coat. She also has her daddy’s soulful, expressive eyes. She loves her people fiercely and is such a loyal companion.
Excellent level

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

We love Hunterberry Hill so much that we just got a second dog. Barkley is a great addition to our family! Their assessment of the puppies personalities and temperaments are spot on. Both of our dogs have been exactly as described. I know from talking with other people that not all breeders are as knowledgeable and people don’t get the dog that they were originally described.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
