I'm Janice H., the breeder behind Hytower Brittanys located in Lake Wales, FL. I breed to improve the breed not to just have puppies. Pedigrees are important and conformation, temperament, and health testing. I strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy. The goal I set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.
Q. & A. with Janice
Why did you start breeding?
I started out in Dobermans and was at a show and saw a Brittany puppy who no one wanted and I thought he was a nice puppy. I got him and finished his Championship and was in Top Ten AKC for like 3 years owner handled. That got me into Brittanys and showing and breeding.
What makes your program special?
It's not easy to find the right fit for each individual puppy and not every family is suited for every puppy we produce. You hope for show homes for the show puppies but the best home is a must, but we're here for anyone who wants to explore more of what this breed can do. Producing happy and healthy Brittanys is our passion.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
