I'm Penny H., the breeder behind Iconic's Standard Schnauzer located in Pensacola, FL. My dogs are proven champions in the ring and in the hearts of their forever families. I strive to produce quality puppies that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments. My priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all my dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for Standard Schnauzers inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.What makes your program special?
I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I take pride in raising well-tempered and socialized puppies who can excel in work, show, or as beloved companions.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are pepper and salt. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Puppy purchase price includes AKC registration, microchip, first set of vaccinations, health record, health guarantee, and breeder's assistance for the life of the dog. Each puppy receives the same investment of our time, resources and love. Therefore each pup is the same purchase price. AKC Registered, Microchipped, Vaccinations, Dewormed, Puppy packet. Deposits are only taken once we confirm we'll have a puppy available for you.”

About Icon
Icon is a male Standard Schnauzer. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Penny decided to make him part of their program. Penny has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Dilated Cardiomyopathy (Schnauzer Type)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
