I'm Jeffrey and Wendy H., the breeder behind Idaho Beagles located in Shelley, ID. We breed high-quality AKC beagles. We pride ourselves in producing healthy puppies and treat each of the new babies as if they were our own. We health test each of our parents through Embark to ensure we are producing well-bred, healthy puppies for loving homes. We love what we do and are committed to producing quality puppies for their future families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tan and white, brown white and tan, blue tan and white, and black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Jeffrey and Wendy

Jeffrey and Wendy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jeffrey and Wendy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppy price including AKC limited registration, routine deworming, dewclaw removal, 1st set of immunizations, well puppy vet check, and a one-year health guarantee. Microchipping is available upon request. Once a deposit is placed, this will reserve the puppy of your choice for you until he/she is 8 weeks old.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jeffrey and Wendy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Jeffrey and Wendy offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
