I'm NICOLE, the breeder behind Imperial Poodles LLC located in Wilmington, DE. This journey started years ago after loosing a dog to Lymphoma. Trying to handle grief we began volunteering & donating to organizations servicing canines & families. Falling in love with the temperament, size, & intelligence of miniature poodles. With health as our focus Imperial Poodles was born!

Why did you start breeding?
After the experience of loss of our family dog due to health issues, we began involvement in the research of health and genetics. Our time spent participating in AKC performance and volunteering with our local kennel club ignited a spark to share the positive emotion felt from pet companionship. We connected with breeders all over the country to select the best pairing for our breeding program.What makes your program special?
At Imperial Poodles we believe in doing it right from the start and understand there is much more than breeding in this journey. Our main focus is on pedigree performance and quality products which are holistically and environmentally sound. The health of our champion bloodline dogs is our first priority! This means a healthy start to a lifelong happiness for our companion homes.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

"The price includes guarantee AKC registration, microchip, AKC reunite, AKC platinum package includes, complimentary first vet visit, pet insurance, first round of vaccinations and puppy kit. A deposit is required to hold a puppy. Puppy picks are provided in the order received. The deposits are nonrefundable."

Louie is a friendly guy who is a pet therapy dog and visits a local elementary school monthly. Louie is fun to walk and will greet neighbors by rolling on his back because he loves belly rubs. He plays with his other canine friends and is very gentle and loving.

Benedict is such a gentle boy! He loves cuddles and laying in your lap. We nicknamed him Benny. Loves walking and playing with children in the park. His favorite game is fetch he really good at retrieval. Benny enjoys AKC Fast Cat and is really fast!

Empress is a bougie pooch! Her names suits her well! She is a therapy dog and is very good with children. She weighs about 8 lbs and enjoys being carried around. Our frequent trips to the mall allows her to make people smile which she does so well. Empress has earned her CGC AKC title, and soon will her Trick Dog we are working on with her now.

Duchess has several nicknames one being Dora the Explorer! She is adventurous and fun to play outside with. She will give cuddles and curl up next to you to make you feel better. Duch has great agility skills and is very active. She has stolen the heart of our 65+ community due to her kind temperament.

Nicole was very helpful, and informative through my search for a puppy. I talked several other breeds yet, I wasn't comfortable. She made me very comfortable and she was there with me through the whole process. And she's still supportive. My little Malachi is growing and we are still learning each other. He is a bundle of joy 😊. He loves playing and sleeping 😴 and he misses me all the time. Nicole imperial puppies are definitely great. I would recommend her with a smile 😊

Where do I even begin! Nicole from Imperial Poodles was amazing to work with throughout the entire process of getting my fur baby, Nova, to her furever home. From the very beginning she was extremely informative with frequent updates on Nova’s progress as well as provided a room of advice leading up to pickup. She answered all of my questions as a first time puppy parent and even got in a call to discuss potty and crate training to make sure we were on the same page and I was prepared to keep consistent with her training once home. To take it a step further, Nicole has remained in contact even after Nova came home and continues to share advice to help my pup’s transition. Also, major major thanks to all of the training Imperial Poodles does with their pups puppies which has made socializing and training Nova so much easier. Thank you to Imperial Poodles and Nicole 💜

Nicole did a great job for us. She answered all our questions and helped me through the process and came back with answers very quickly. I truly cannot say enough positive words about Nicole. Not only is she a loving and responsible breeder but she is a wonderful, caring, honest and loving person. Before Nicole had listed on good dog, I had spoken with several other breeders in search of our puppy. Unfortunately, I encountered breeders who were unkind, financially motivated and dishonest. Nicole was the complete antithesis throughout our entire time working together. She was so patient with me during our many conversations, answering all of my questions, and FaceTimed/sent pictures of our puppy so my family and I could see. Our amazing puppy who we named Conrad came to our home with the sweetest personality and temperament and it was evident that he spent the first 8/9 weeks of his life in a loving home being well taken care of. (Another huge bonus is that he came to us fully pad trained and has been going outside with zero issue!) Nicole checked in even after Conrad was ours just to see how he was doing and to see how she could help if we had any questions. Nicole is amazing, as are her puppies. I can’t imagine getting a puppy from any other breeder in the future after being this spoiled :) I’m rating my experience both in working with Nicole and with the puppy we brought home from her, both get an 11/10. :) thank you for everything!!!
