🤍 Welcome Home, Duchess (formerly Joanna)! 🤍 This past Tuesday, we had the privilege of meeting Tamara in Tennessee as Joanna officially began the next chapter of her life. From the moment Tamara met her, it was easy to see that this was the beginning of something special. Joanna received her beautiful new name, Duchess, and with it, a loving forever home where she will be cherished for years to come. As with every puppy born at Impressive Cartwright Standards, Duchess’s journey began long before she opened her eyes. My boys and I prayed throughout Darci’s pregnancy for healthy puppies, for the exact number God intended, and for the families who would one day welcome each one home. From the day she was born, we’ve continued praying specifically for the family God had chosen for her. Over the past several months, Duchess has been intentionally raised using Puppy Culture protocols, Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction, structured socialization, grooming desensitization, crate exposure, and temperament testing. Every experience has been designed to help prepare her for a lifetime of success with her new family. While saying goodbye is never easy, there is so much joy in watching one of our puppies find exactly where they belong. Tamara, thank you for trusting Impressive Cartwright Standards and for giving Duchess such a wonderful home. It has been a pleasure getting to know you throughout this journey, and we are excited to watch Duchess grow and flourish with you. Remember, you are now part of the ICS family, and we’re always here whenever you need us. Welcome home, Duchess. Once an ICS puppy, always an ICS puppy. ❤️

Welcome Home, Brother (formerly John) 💚 Friday, one of the most special moments of this journey took place as John officially joined the Hamilton family and began the next chapter of his life. Upon meeting her new puppy, his little human sister chose the perfect new name for him: Brother. There is something incredibly sweet about a child naming their puppy, and from the very beginning it was clear that a special bond was already forming between them. As with every puppy born here at Impressive Cartwright Standards, Brother was prayed over long before he ever took his first breath. My boys and I prayed throughout Darci’s pregnancy for healthy puppies, for the exact number God intended, and for the families who would one day welcome them home. We believe those prayers matter, and moments like this remind us why. Brother leaves ICS with a strong foundation built through Puppy Culture protocols, Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction, structured socialization, grooming desensitization, crate exposure, and temperament evaluation. More importantly, he leaves surrounded by love and headed to a family that is excited to watch him grow. While saying goodbye is never easy, seeing a puppy find the family meant for them makes every bittersweet moment worthwhile. Congratulations, Hamilton family. Thank you for trusting us with such an important decision and for opening your hearts and home to Brother. We are honored to be part of your story and look forward to watching him grow for years to come. Welcome to the ICS family, Hamilton family. Once an ICS puppy, always an ICS puppy.

A New Chapter for Salome 💜 One of the greatest blessings of raising puppies is watching them begin the next chapter of their lives with the families chosen just for them. This week, that chapter began for Salome. After spending her first weeks here at Impressive Cartwright Standards growing, learning, and preparing for the world, Salome has officially joined her forever family in Delaware. While there are always mixed emotions when a puppy leaves, there is also a tremendous sense of gratitude knowing she is exactly where she is meant to be. Each litter begins with hope, prayer, and purpose. From the day we learned Darci was expecting, my boys and I prayed over every puppy and every future family. We prayed for healthy puppies, loving homes, and meaningful connections that would last a lifetime. Seeing those prayers answered never gets old. Salome captured hearts from the very beginning with her sweet nature and thoughtful personality. We are excited to watch her continue to grow and thrive with Rachel, who has already shown so much dedication and love for her new companion. Thank you, Rachel, for placing your trust in our program and for opening your heart and home to this special girl. We are honored to remain a small part of Salome’s journey and cannot wait to see all the adventures ahead. Congratulations to Rachel and Salome as they begin this exciting new adventure together.

Shadow’s Next Chapter A few days ago, Shadow (formerly known as Peter) officially joined his forever family and began his new life in Indiana. As breeders, moments like these are always bittersweet. For weeks, Shadow was part of our daily lives. We watched him grow from a tiny newborn into a confident, loving puppy full of potential. While it is never easy to say goodbye, there is tremendous joy in knowing he is exactly where he is meant to be. What many people may not realize is that our journey with these puppies begins long before they are ever born. When we learned Darci was expecting, my boys and I began praying over her and this litter. We prayed for a healthy pregnancy, safe delivery, and healthy puppies. We prayed that God would bless us with exactly the number of puppies He intended for this litter, no more and no less. Even before the puppies arrived, we also began praying for their future families. We prayed for the homes that would one day welcome them. We prayed for the individuals, couples, and families who would become their people. We prayed for the connections that would be made and for each puppy to find the place where they would thrive. Long before Shadow had a name, long before applications were submitted, and long before his family ever met him, those prayers had already begun. Today, as we look at this sweet boy beginning his new adventure, we are reminded how special it is to watch those prayers come to life. To Shadow’s family, thank you for trusting us with such an important part of your lives. We are honored to have you as part of the ICS family and look forward to watching Shadow grow for years to come. Shadow, we hope your days are filled with adventure, love, and plenty of cuddles. We cannot wait to see all that the future holds for you. Welcome home, Shadow!

Nova’s Next Chapter A few days ago, sweet Nova (formerly Mary) officially joined her forever family and began her new life in Indiana. As breeders, there is always a mixture of pride and emotion when a puppy leaves our home. For nine weeks, Nova was part of our daily routine. We watched her grow, learn, explore, and develop into the wonderful puppy she is today. What many people may not realize is that our journey with these puppies begins long before they are born. When we learned Darci was expecting, my boys and I began praying over this litter. We prayed for Darci’s health and wellness throughout her pregnancy. We prayed for healthy puppies. We prayed for the right number of puppies, no more and no less than what was intended. Most importantly, we prayed for the families who would one day welcome these puppies into their homes. Long before we knew their names, long before applications arrived, and long before families were matched, those prayers had already begun. Today, seeing Nova settled into the loving home that was prepared for her reminds us that every puppy’s story is part of something much bigger than ourselves. We are incredibly grateful to Nova’s family for trusting us with such an important decision, and we look forward to watching her grow in the years ahead. Nova, we hope your first few days at home have been filled with new adventures, plenty of cuddles, and lots of love. We cannot wait to see what your future holds. Puppy Health Check Update Today was another big milestone for the ICS puppies as they headed to the veterinarian for their health examinations and booster vaccinations. I am happy to report that all of the puppies did exceptionally well throughout their appointments. Their health checks went smoothly, and each puppy handled the experience with confidence and composure. One of the most rewarding parts of the day was once again hearing compliments from the veterinary staff about the puppies’ temperaments, behavior, and overall demeanor. From calmly waiting in their crates to being handled during examinations, these puppies represented the ICS program beautifully. Moments like these are a reflection of the intentional work that begins long before puppies ever go home. Through daily handling, socialization, grooming exposure, crate training, novel experiences, and structured enrichment, our goal is to help each puppy develop into a confident and resilient companion. I could not be more proud of this litter and the progress they continue to make. The future is looking bright for these seven special puppies!

Today was a major milestone day here at ICS. All 7 puppies officially completed their temperament and trait evaluations today, and I could not be more proud of this litter. Every puppy handled the process beautifully and showed so many promising qualities throughout their assessments. The evaluations were completed by ThunderHawk Academy, Middle Tennessee’s premier dog training facility, and we are extremely thankful for the time, professionalism, and detailed attention they gave each puppy individually. They have asked us to allow approximately 48–72 hours for them to finalize their findings and complete each puppy’s detailed evaluation report. Once I receive those completed evaluations, I will officially begin making placement decisions based on temperament, traits, lifestyle compatibility, and overall family fit. Watching these puppies grow, develop confidence, recover from new situations, engage with their environment, and continue showing stable temperaments is incredibly rewarding as a breeder. Days like today are a reminder of why so much time, structure, and intentional work goes into raising puppies correctly from the very beginning. This breeder is one happy guy tonight. I am very proud of these puppies and very excited for their futures. More updates coming soon. — Impressive Cartwright Standards

She forms strong bonds with her family and approaches new experiences with curiosity and composure. Health is a cornerstone of our program, and Raya has undergone extensive health testing, including DNA screening through Embark and OFA evaluations, allowing us to make informed breeding decisions that prioritize the long term health and well being of future generations. As with every pairing at Impressive Cartwright Standards, Raya will only be matched with a carefully selected sire after considering health, structure, temperament, and pedigree. Our goal is never simply to produce puppies, but to produce companions with exceptional temperaments that are capable of thriving as beloved family members, therapy dogs, service prospects, or performance partners. Our experience with Lonnie at Impressive Cartwright Standards was nothing short of wonderful. From the very first conversation, Lonnie made everything easy. He really got to know our family and used the professional behavioral evaluation of each puppy to help us choose the right fit. That’s how we ended up with Brother — formerly John the Beloved. Brother has been everything we hoped for: bright, affectionate, and remarkably easy to housebreak. The transition into our home was smooth, and he settled in right away. You can tell Lonnie puts real care and expertise into his dogs. We’re so grateful for the experience and thrilled with our new family member. I also appreciate that Lonnie offered to be a continued resource if we need any help in the future.

Lonnie was wonderful to work with! He was always quick to respond and extremely helpful and patient when answering all our questions. He really listened to us in regard to our needs and wishes in our new family member. After meeting our sweet girl and spending just a few hours with her, it was obvious that Lonnie spends so much attention, care, and time with his puppies to ensure they are incredibly well adjusted and ready for their new homes! We have two children (ages 8 and 3) and even they are no match for the confident and calm demeanor our puppy came home with! We would recommend Lonnie and his program, Impressive Cartwright Standards, to anyone and everyone looking to find their new fur friend!

From the beginning of the process to the end, Lonnie made the process pain free. He gave lots of updates along the way and you can tell he loves each puppy very much by the details. Will for sure try to get our next pup from Lonnie and ICS. Glad we are part of the family!

I was looking for a boy dog and spoke to many breeders on the Good Dog platform searching for the right one. Amidst those breeders, Lonnie stood out to me because of his thoroughness and detailed responses. Lonnie definitely stood apart from those other breeders with the socialization of the pups, desensitization to sounds and grooming, etc., his health testing and guarantees, and more. Lonnie cared deeply about what puppy would fit my household best - I live alone in a quiet apartment with a 16 3/4 year old cat. This is how I ended up with Salome, a girl dog even though I was set on a boy, because I immediately trusted Lonnie’s judgment and processes and wanted to work with him for my first dog. Salome shows the fruits of Lonnie and his family’s labor of love everyday. He’s been so supportive of my questions after getting her and offers a valuable lifetime of support for the owners of his puppies. You can tell he truly cares about his dogs and goes above and beyond to ensure they fit well into their new homes and can be the best dogs possible. I am so grateful to Lonnie for working with me and to the Good Dog platform for their own guarantees. I hope Salome and I and my senior cat will have many wonderful years together to come. Thanks Lonnie!

I feel so fortunate to have used the Good Dog platform & come across Lonnie's breeding program/Impressive Cartwright Poodles. He's incredibly kind, knowledgeable, responsive, and has clearly taken the time to build an amazing breeding program. We love our puppy dearly & pur personal vet who is also a dog breeder has praised all of the parent testing & new puppy packet that Lonnie offers along with your fur baby. I also feel confident & thankful that Lonnie is accessible for guidance and wants to maintain updates on the dogs throughout their life... Cartwright Impressive Poodles is truly a labor of love for him.
