Meet the breeder
I'm Margaret S., the breeder behind In Der Bewegung German Shepherds located in Lake Villa, IL. We are proud to pursue the versatile German Shepherd Dog - we have animals titling in conformation, lure coursing, nose work, dock diving, rally obedience, weight pull, and training to be working service dogs. All breeding animals are health screened and temperament is one of our top priorities.

Why did you start breeding?
I am following in my mentors’ vision to achieve a truly versatile German Shepherd. I want to contribute to the accessibility of the breed not only for working or show homes but to families that would like a sound and intelligent companion. I really enjoy introducing well-bred dogs to the public and showing just how much this breed can bring to their handlers whether on the field or at home!What makes your program special?
I am proud to be working with a variety of line crosses to build towards versatile and sound animals capable of being the “jack of all trades” that the breed should be. Our foundation is in American Showline crossed to Working lines, and I plan to continue bringing in line crosses to benefit from their high working ability and correct conformation. I hope to achieve the “total dog”.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Margaret has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Also included are registration, the health certificate, first set of shots, early socialization work, and a lifetime of support for you and your new companion/show prospect! Deposits are accepted on a litter-by-litter basis once puppies are born, stable, and thriving. Puppies are matched to homes by 7 weeks once temperament and structure evaluations are completed.”
Contract & health guarantee
Margaret may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Dentition, Temperament Test
