I'm Jay and Kathryn G., the breeder behind Indy's Goldens located in Foreman, AR. We offer purebred genetically tested and cleared Light Golden Retrievers. Our focus is the health and temperament of loving pets. Over the years we’ve learned valuable methods for socializing our puppies. Each litter has a clean and safe environment to learn and grow so they have the best chance of becoming amazing family members!

Why did you start breeding?
18 years ago, we rescued a retriever puppy and fell in love with the breed. As time passed we knew our 1st retriever Kasey, wouldn't be with us much longer so we decided to buy a couple more dogs before Kasey passed away. We did some research and decided to go all in on this breed and purchased 2 Light Golden puppies. Now, we have been breeding Light Golden/English Creams for over 4 years.What makes your program special?
We really LOVE Golden Retrievers. We only breed Goldens and only 1 color of the breed. Everything we do pertains to 1 breed. We FIRMLY believe in genetic testing. Other testing such as PennHip along with OFA eyes, heart, and elbows go hand in hand with DNA testing. We utilize several tests that benefit the health of the breed. ALL our dogs are chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed and have a 2 YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"Price includes 2 year health guarantee, prepaid microchip w/ AKC Reunite, 1,2 round of shots, Vet clearance, deworming, AKC litter registration certificate, raised using Jeanette Forey's BAB Protocols. Our puppies are same price regardless of gender. A limited AKC registration option is $3,500 A full AKC registration option is $4,500 Main difference between them is ability to register any offspring."

About Bonnie
Bonnie is a beautiful English Cream/Light Golden Retriever. She is much larger than the AKC standards for a female Golden. She averages about 84 lbs. of pure muscle. Bonnie is not overweight, she has a large frame for a female, is very fast and athletic. She loves being outdoors and chasing after anything that moves. She thinks if it's alive and moving, it will be my new friend. Whatever "it" is... In spite of her size and playful nature, Bonnie is very gentle and loving. She is well behaved and very intelligent. I could go on and on about all of her physical and behavioral traits. She is my loyal best friend so some might say I am slightly biased. Biased or not, everyone who has met her agrees she is a great dog. I am privileged to be her friend who happens to "own" her.

About Pearl
If intelligence and obedience matter, Pearl is at the top of the list. Unfortunately, when she was a puppy, Pearl was not evaluated to see if she would have qualified to be a service dog in some capacity. I really do be believe she would have qualified. Pearl is easily trained. She sits back, watches and assesses the situation and those around her before she gets involved. She knows what she wants and needs and is very good at communicating her thoughts to humans. It is a lot of fun to talk to Pearl then watch and listen to her work through the question or command. Sometimes it feels like the dog is talking to me. Crazy, yes I know.?. Of course Pearl is also beautiful! She's a Golden Retriever! She is a smart, pretty dog and whole lot of fun to interact with. It looks like several of her puppies are going to be the same way.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
