I'm Christine G., the breeder behind Ioney's Southern Paws Shelties, Frenchies, and Yorkies located in Elberton, GA. Breeding loving, loyal, and healthy family pets that are bred through my passion for them with utmost importance keeping standards strong and for them to be loyal companions and fantastic family members. I would be thrilled to introduce you to your next beloved pup!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have owned, loved, and lived with dogs my entire life. I have also owned rescues and bought from breeders. I believe we have to have the best of both worlds, but work to strive to lower the world of rescues and while also help to keep our pure breeds from becoming extinct. I started breeding with the white German Shepherds and absolutely adore them, but chose to go down to smaller sizes due to strength restrictions.

  • What makes your program special?

    I handle my puppies from birth. I do not leave my female's side when she is delivering her litters. They are raised around other dogs, a cat, children, and adults while teaching them manners and basic commands. I strive to lower the world of rescues through good breeding practices, education, and to be available to my puppy owners. I look forward to connecting with you!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Shetland Sheepdog puppies include sable merle and white, sable and white, blue merle white and tan, black white and tan, and black and white. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include parti and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Christine

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $34,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Also included are the AKC Registration and fee, a microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, back dewclaw removal, deworming, and a going home bag. Deposit for Shelties is $500, Yorkies is $500, and French Bulldogs is $500 and non-refundable. They are only refundable if, for whatever reason, I decide to not sell the puppy to said buyer.”

    Ioney’s Southern Paws Shelties, Frenchies, and Yorkies has been an absolutely pleasure to work with in getting our dog, Honey (formerly known as Peony). Christine is a gem. She loves all of the dogs and cares for them so well. We brought home a healthy, well adjusted, sociable, polite loving companion in our sweet Honey girl. We were worried we would not have the chance to get our dog due to a scheduling conflict with a planned vacation and her required pickup date. Christine offered us an option of her boarding Honey at a very reasonable cost until we got back from our trip. This allowed us to still get our girl and know that she was in a safe and loving environment. I would recommend ISP to anyone looking for a loving companion like a sheltie, frenchie or yorkie.
