Monica M.

Breeder of Pembroke Welsh Corgis

Meet the breeder

I'm Monica M., the breeder behind Iron Moss Ranch located in Payette, ID. My husband and I have been Breeding Pembroke Welsh Corgis since 2012. Our males and female breeding dogs were chosen for their temperament and conformation. Our goal is to produce quality puppies that are healthy, easily trainable, and are a joy to be around. Puppies are DM, VWD1, and EIC clear.

Q. & A. with Monica

  • Why did you start breeding?

About 10 years ago I started looking for a Corgi puppy and was disappointed in the quality breeders were producing. Most were not testing for genetic disorders and did not meet AKC standards. My husband and I decided to preserve quality AKC Pembrokes. We have specifically chosen our females and males for their temperament, health, and quality
  • What makes your program special?

We are special by the way we raise our puppies. Health testing and proving the parents as quality dogs through conformation and performance is incredibly important. Our puppies are handled daily. We do our best to give our puppies are great start in life. Our puppies make great companions and we have even produced a few show and service dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, red, and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
