Meet the breeder

I'm Abbigale P., the breeder behind Iron Spirit Homestead & Aussies located in Riverton, UT. When we got our first dog, we were instantly in love. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to responsibly bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families.

Q. & A. with Abbigale

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started breeding because after years of volunteering at a shelters and working as a dog trainer I realized the importance of where dogs come from. We need good dogs in this world that are health tested and bred for temperament. I know for a fact that if more breeders were responsible, less dogs would end up in the shelter. I also love my dogs so much that I want to share them with other families.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes us special is that we start training and setting these pups up for success from the moment they are born. We start potty training, crate training, and socializing from a young age! We also love to keep tails which is unique in the Aussie breed. We have very few dogs in our program and they are all inside dogs so each one gets the spoiling and loving they deserve. All our money we make in our program goes back to the dogs to spoil them and help them compete in the sports they love.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, red merle, red, and black. Miniature American Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include red, black, blue merle, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
