Meet the breeder

I'm Hilary H., the breeder behind Ivie Huskies located in Greenville, NC. Our mission at Ivie Huskies will always first and foremost be to provide the best home for our Siberian Huskies. We are not a kennel. Our dogs are loved members of our family and their happiness takes precedence over all. We seek to raise our Huskies with sound, balanced temperaments. Exceptional temperaments combined with quality conformation and health allow our dogs to excel at being loving pets, great performance dogs, and successful exhibitors. Ivie Huskies is an active member of the Siberian community. We are a member of the Central North Carolina Siberian Husky Club and actively showing in UKC, IABCA, and AKC, we have earned multiple champion titles. We also participate in performance events with dogs currently holding FastCAT, CAT, Dock Diving, and Trick Dog titles. Our kennel has earned multiple recreation mushing titles. Ivie Huskies currently hold Wheel Dog and Wheel Dog Bronze titles via the Wheel Dog Reactional Mushing League. Our ultimate goal is to have Ivie Huskies carry on and preserve the Siberian Husky -- smart, strong athletes who are loving family members. We provide helpful information about the breed, as well as share our daily experiences, training tips, and conformation/performance journey.

Q. & A. with Hilary

  • Why did you start breeding?

When I was a young girl, I fell in love with Siberians after watching the movie "Iron Will". Ever since seeing that movie, I have been enamored with the breed. My goal is to breed excellent quality pets with sound conformation and balanced temperaments.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Hilary

Hilary has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Hilary partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

"It is very important for you to understand, you will not know which puppy you will get until after the puppies are evaluated for conformation and temperament at 8 weeks old.  At this time, you will be contacted about selecting your puppy.  We will help in selecting the puppy that will work best for you and your family.  Gender, color, and temperament will all be considered when recommending puppies to you.  We do give preference to show and/or working and/or performance homes.  If there is no puppy in the litter who is ideal for your family, we will refund your deposit in full."

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Deposit is required at the time of pregnancy confirmation. This will secure a spot on the litter, but not a specific puppy."

Contract & health guarantee

Hilary may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Hilary offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Hilary directly.
