Meet the breeder

I'm Andrea E., the breeder behind Ivy Meadows and Friends located in Quincy, MI. Here at Ivy Meadows all dogs are beloved pets. We strive to give pups the very best starts and place them in the very best homes! All pups are introduced to early training and socialization. All pups are loved on in home and come pre-spoiled. We breed towards temperament, confirmation and movement.

Q. & A. with Andrea

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding after rescuing a litter of Border Collie puppies. After rescuing them I quickly became passionate about training, and breeding. I spent the following years learning all I could on both topics, as well as aiding with other litters.
  • What makes your program special?

The love we have for all our dogs and puppies. Every one of them means the world to us. Our commitment to transparency. Our focus on not only health and confirmation, but a strong emphasis of early socialization and training. We preform ENS and ESI, as well as do temperament testing prior to selections being made.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red & white, black & white, black, red, black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
