I'm Jack G., the breeder behind Jack and Jody's Goldens located in Oregon City, OR. I am just a guy who loves his golden and want others to be able to enjoy goldens as much as I do. My dog is embark tested and current on all vet health checks. I strive to provide the best care for my puppies by breeding the best genetics to allow the puppies to live a long and healthy life with their new owners.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always liked golden retrievers. After many years of owning them, I decided to try breeding my female. I Pride myself on breeding only good genetics to help better the breed.What makes your program special?
I raise them in my home and they get a lot of social interaction, I work on potty training, and they get basic training.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
