About Tiger
Tiger is a love bug! He is an AKC Champion that I bred but he isso much more! He has an outstanding health profile and has passed all the health exams required for Havanese. He loves to walk, to play but mostly to sit on laps. He lives with my very good friend about 15 minutes from my house so I get to see him often.
Excellent health testing

About Sienna
Sienna is also extremely sweet! She too has passed all the requisite health certifications for Havanese. She comes from a long line of my breedings and pedigrees with outstanding conformation. It is Sienna's eyes that always get me! They are big, almond shaped and beautiful!
Good health testing
Excellent level
Jacqueline Carney reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Havanese.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
