Meet the breeder

I'm Marcia M., the breeder behind Jam's Doodles And Poodles located in Cleveland, GA. Yes, we breed puppies—but that’s only part of the story. What we’re truly creating is your next best friend, loyal sidekick, adventure partner, and family member. And we take that responsibility seriously. Health testing is a given here, but our commitment goes far beyond genetics. Our dogs live full, enriched lives—hiking mountain trails, swimming, enjoying boat days on the lake, and curling up in bed with their humans at night. They aren’t kennel dogs. They are family first. Located in the beautiful North Georgia mountains, our program is built on nearly 7,000 square feet of home space, sprawling acreage to explore, and a dedicated team of 4 full-time staff caring for our dogs and puppies around the clock. We work closely with exceptional veterinarians and spare no expense when it comes to raising confident, healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppies that are truly ready for their forever homes. Because for us, this is bigger than breeding puppies. This is about raising companions who will change lives. 🖤.

Q. & A. with Marcia

  • Why did you start breeding?

I apprenticed under a breeder who had been breeding for more than 25 years and fell in love with it. After 3 years of work, thought, and lots of prayer, we bought two girls to raise up. These were Fiona and Maple, our original two girls who have been retired for years now. They live their best life, sleeping in our beds, and enjoying the farm during the day.
  • What makes your program special?

Health testing is a given here, but our commitment goes far beyond genetics. Our dogs live full, enriched lives—hiking mountain trails, swimming, enjoying boat days on the lake, and curling up in bed with their humans at night. They aren’t kennel dogs. They are family first.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Poodle puppies include miniature and moyen sizes. Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sheepadoodle puppies are medium size. Aussiedoodle puppies include toy and mini sizes. Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Cockapoo puppies include merle, cream, buff and white, buff, brown white and tan, brown and tan, brown, and black and tan. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Sheepadoodle puppies include merle, brown and white, blue merle, and black and white. Aussiedoodle puppies include sable, brown and white, blue merle, red merle, black phantom, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Bernedoodle puppies include black, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Marcia was very informative & responded quickly with any questions I had. She stayed in constant contact with me up until the puppy was at my door! Such a smooth process & I am so happy we found our new fur baby with them.

My Dad has wanted a dog for a couple of years, especially since my Mom passed away. Dad helps us take care of our dogs since we moved beside him, too. Dad was set on an Austrailian Shepherd. I told him to look at Aussie Doodles because of my experience with poodle mixes. So the search began. I started showing him some pictures and when I showed him a picture of his new baby, he said that is the one! I started messaging Marcia one night and he picked him up two days later! My Dad has thanked me so much for finding our Rip and letting him get this sweet baby. I cannot say enough about Marcia and how easy the process has been, her kind words about my Dad, and for making us all a little happier! Rip is so smart and he is running the house already!

We saw this little darling on Good Dog, and I asked questions right away about him. Marcia was very willing to answer everything I asked. And she replied very quickly. Before an hour or two of seeing our new puppy, we were in the car driving to Georgia to pick him up. He is a typical puppy, not house trained, and wants to bite everything in sight right now. And he is absolutely adorable! We've put tarps on the floors of the rooms available for him to wander in. And a baby gate at the end of the hall. This way his "accidents" are very easy to clean up. And after watching what his "new older brother" is doing outside, and after treat reinforcements, he is going outside more than 50% of the time already. Electrical cords are behind heavy furniture or taped down with electrical tape so that he cannot ruin them or hurt himself. He is so cute, so cuddly. We love our dogs - they are family. And if they have genetic health problems, it breaks our hearts. Marcia was very responsive, very forthcoming. She made me feel comfortable that she was a very responsible breeder that I could trust. Thank you Marcia for raising Blaze. We adore him!

Marcia is an absolute dream to work with and I couldn’t be happier with my choice to bring home a Jam’s baby. She helped match me to a micro mini bernedoodle litter that was exactly what I was looking for. She was always super responsive and happy to answer my many questions as a first time doodle owner. Even after picking Stassi up, Marcia has been so helpful in offering me advice on training, food, and everything in between. You can tell her puppies are well loved with great genetics and health guarantee. Any of these babies will make the perfect addition to your family, whether you have a full house or you’re a single 20-something like me :) I’ll absolutely be getting another pup from Jam’s Doodles and Poodles when we’re ready for a sibling.

Marcia was very easy to work with during the puppy adoption process. She answered all my questions and responded to emails quickly! Mo is a sweet sweet girl mixed with a little spunk! She loves to follow me around the house. Mo quickly crate trained, learned to walk on a leash and already knows the command sit. I can tell Marcia and her family loved on these puppies!!

Marcia was a pleasure to work with. She was quick to respond and answered any and all questions I had. Going into this process was an unknown and she made me feel at ease. I can tell that she really cared for my sweet girl. She was in perfect health and her temperament and personality tell me that she was breed to be a family dog. So happy to have Daisy, (formally Kit Kat) as part of our family.
