I'm Jan S., the breeder behind Jan Stoffer located in Aurora, CO. My dream from a very young age was to breed dogs. Our goal is to produce dogs that are healthy, well adjusted, with great temperaments. Our joy is to provide families with pets that will quickly become valued and cherished members of their family.
Q. & A. with Jan
Why did you start breeding?
Following a 16 year relationship with the breeder at Colorado Mountain Labradoodles, I was asked if I wanted to carry on the breeding program. The breeder was ready to retire and knew that my lifelong dream was to breed dogs.
What makes your program special?
As we carry on the very intentional practices of the breeding program, all of our parents have passed comprehensive health testing. We implement the strategies outlined in the Puppy Culture curriculum from birth to go-home. Our puppies are spoiled but well trained in basic commands and are well on their way to being potty trained. They are well adjusted to new situations and very well socialized.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
