What makes your program special?
Every puppy we raise goes through a training program we built ourselves, drawing on established early development research, and we run it the same way for every litter, starting two days after birth once they've had time to settle into the world. Our mamas live in our home as part of our family. We evaluate every one before she's ever bred, and once she's expecting, we follow her lead completely. If she's done with kibble and only wants chicken, we'll grill some up. We're up every two hours through the night because she's doing the hard work, and we want her to feel cared for through all of it. The first month is where we build resilience that can't be made up for later, paired with handling that makes vet visits and grooming something puppies tolerate easily instead of dread. The second month is where families start seeing it pay off: manners, crate and potty training, car rides, real socialization. We know each puppy well enough to tell you who struggled with crate training and what helped, who does better free fed, who's more confident with kids or other dogs. Every family goes home with a written summary specific to their puppy, not a generic packet. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

+4Jana is incredible!. After losing my previous golden to cancer, I was devastated! So I began my search for my new forever furry companion. Having had a golden before I knew this was the breed for me. The breed is friendly, smart, loyal and a little bit goofy. At first I was extremely frustrated as there are many websites, agencies etc…online. I finally found the site good dog and was a little overwhelmed! It was most important to me to meet my future companion in person before I put down a deposit. While the good dog site is good you have to pay attention to where the breeder is located, how to know how you will get your puppy etc. most of the breeders while nice did not allow you to physically meet your puppy in advance of putting a deposit down. This is where Jana was incredible! She allowed me to meet my puppy Buddy in advance of a deposit. Incredible! Not only is her and her family amazing their puppy set up was made to encourage a good beginning to any puppy. In addition, I got to meet my puppy’s mother who was an amazing dog and all of his siblings. It was an amazing experience that most other breedersdo not allow. Needless to say I immediately put my deposit down. Jana kept in constant contact so I could watch Buddy’s development. She sent me picures, emails on development etc… incredible!!!!!! On my day of pick up they planned ahead and had Buddy ready to go and there was no trauma to Buddy and his mom siblings as he came home with me. An incredible experience! Once home Buddy immediately fit into his new environment. I could tell that they had already worked on training as he already knew sit and come. Also, they must have done some potty training as he has had only a few accidents and within two days has not had another mistake inside the house. Buddy is a smart, friendly, curious and somewhat goofy dog. He is the light of my life! If I add a second dog into my life it will be another puppy from Jana! I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful of a breeder and caring person her and her family were.
