Why did you start breeding?
My son wanted to get into breeding a few years ago. I had not had a dog for many years. In high school I had a minature poodle I loved dearly. So I naturally gravitated towards a poodle. My son lost interest, but Moka was so wonderful I decided to carry on. What started with her has grown into a small in home program. 5 reside with me and 2 others are in guardian homes of close friends.What makes your program special?
My babies are family, they will always be a part of the family regardless of participating in the breeding program. My program is small, females have one litter a year. Studs and dams have genetic testing and OFA both. All are AKC. Puppies are raised in home as family with socialization and exposure to sites and sounds for when they leave here to join their forever homes.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, cafe au lait, cream, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Moka
Moka is a Brown phantom standard. Her mom was brown, her dad was brown and white Parti with champion lineage. She is smart as a whip, very intuitive, loving and loyal. Once she claims you, you are hers forever. Eager to please, loves to fetch and hide n seek, is very competitive. Loves water, floating, swimming, kayaking. Has keen interest in birds, loves to flush ducks up off the pond but she also has great recall. She's a wonderful mama to her babies.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4), Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
