About Norman
Norman is our exceptional Standard Poodle and the cornerstone of our breeding program. He’s not only incredibly intelligent — he’s also deeply intuitive, calm, and eager to please. Norman has an incredible ability to connect with people, which is why he excels as a therapy dog. He has spent countless hours visiting our local nursing home, bringing comfort and joy to residents, and is a familiar, friendly face at the local elementary school. Each summer, he’s a favorite at the school’s summer program, where he patiently listens as children read to him — a role he seems to love just as much as they do. Norman has even made a special appearance in the school’s music program! Despite all his accomplishments, Norman is incredibly laidback and easygoing. Whether he’s working, visiting, or just relaxing at home, he brings a steady, calming presence wherever he goes. His puppies consistently inherit his intelligence, loving temperament, and trainability — with many going on to become therapy and service dogs themselves. Norman is more than just a sire — he’s a trusted companion, a gentle leader, and the heart of what we do at Jewell Kennels.
