Foxglove and Prim are doing fantastic at crate training overnight! Currently they are waking up once to go potty with no accidents in their crate! We are so proud with how easily trainable these two have been. They are also both very familiar with the command “sit”.

It was a muddy mess yesterday, but that didn’t stop us from working on our “sit” command! 🦴 Prim caught on quickly—this girl is a bundle of energy, but she’s eager to please and loves a challenge. 🎾

We introduced the command “sit” today, and Foxglove caught on right away. By the end of our session, he was sitting automatically whenever I stopped walking—already anticipating the cue. He’s a quick learner and eager to please. 🐾🧠

The pups had a special treat last night! 🐾 They got to enjoy some delicious, homemade dog treats straight from our very own J&J K9 Bakery! 🦴 ✨ Some of you may not know, but in addition to being dedicated breeders, we also run an all-natural dog treat bakery! 🐕💚 Everything we make is crafted with love and care, using only the best ingredients for your furry friends.

Sadie’s puppies had their vet exams today. We’re happy to share that all three boys — Snowdrop, Lupine, and Foxglove — passed with flying colors. However, during Primrose’s exam, the vet identified a small inguinal hernia. This is a condition that, in about 90% of cases, resolves on its own by the time the puppy reaches 6 months of age. While it’s not currently causing her any discomfort and is being monitored, we want to be transparent about the finding. Because of this, Primrose’s adoption price has been reduced. She’s otherwise healthy, playful, and just as sweet as ever. If you have any questions about her or would like more information, feel free to reach out!

The pups had a blast exploring some new toys over the past couple of days! As part of our puppy curriculum, we believe in providing exposure to a variety of experiences. They got to play with different textures, interact with new surfaces, and even explore water. This helps them build confidence and adaptability, ensuring they’re well-prepared for the new experiences they’ll encounter once they go home.

Foxglove received a clean bill of health from Dr. Evelyn 👩🏼⚕️ I’ve found that desensitizing puppies is really easy when you have small children. From the loud noises, unexpected movements and touch, and unfamiliar toys — our children enjoy helping with exposing the puppies to new experiences. 🐾

Sadie’s babies are almost fully weaned from mom! They are loving their softened kibble. In each meal, we add in a prebiotic, postbiotic, and pumpkin powder to help support a healthy GI system.
