I'm Jami J., the breeder behind JJs Puppies of the Carolinas located in Bessemer City, NC. Our dogs are bred from AKC Championship Bloodlines for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence. We are dedicated in providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    West Highland White Terriers and Toy Poodles have always been my favorite breeds and I love producing intelligent, loving puppies for other families to enjoy like I do.

  • What makes your program special?

    We prioritize health and well being of our puppies above all else. We have carefully selected our mates and monitor for genetic issues. We are responsible breeders and are committed to continuous improvement.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include apricot, black, and red. West Highland White Terrier puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Jami

Jami has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jami partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $5,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the first round of vaccinations, deworming, vet check, and AKC Registration. Toy Poodles comes with tails docked and dew claws removed as well. All of our puppies come with first round of vaccinations, deworming, vet check, and registration.”

    I enjoyed working with Jami very much. The puppy has been a delight! She was very helpful and quick to answer all my questions. She also let me come visit the puppy at 5 weeks as well. When I picked up the puppy to bring him home, she prepared a packet with a shot schedule, potty training information, type of food puppy was eating and showed me what type of crate to get.     All is well. He’s settling in nicely. Coming up stairs, so far not able to manage going down. Potty training is moving along slowly but paws crossed we will get there. Eating his standard food and have added training treats to the menu. Walking fairly well on a leash but that also will also take time. Thank you so much for your help. We are calling him “Cosmo”.

    Jami is a joy to work with. She’s very responsive and helped us through the process. She kept us updated on our puppy.     Jami was incredibly responsive and informative about the breed we were selecting. She allowed us to pick up our pup late because we had some immovable family plans and went out of her way to provide excellent, extended care for our puppy. We visited our vet after pick up and she said he was very well loved and taken care of by Jami. We were also happy to see the litter was fed very high quality food, and not just the cheapest available like many breeders do. It is evident Jami cares deeply for her puppies and their parents, which helped in our choice overall. We said we were planning on using our puppy for work, and she promptly asked our plans to advocate for the best situation for her litter. We are training our pup to be a service animal for our child and he’s shown exceptional obedience and willingness to learn, which Jami had told us came from the mother’s bloodline. Overall, Jami and her litter exceeded our expectations. We could not be happier with our choice in breeder or breed. Thank you, Jami, for our new and integral part of our family!!

    I got my perfect puppy from Jami! This is my very first dog, and I knew almost nothing about the process. Jami made everything incredibly easy, all I had to do was pick up my little Jasmine at the airport. Jasmine is healthy, smart, and wonderfully calm. She was already potty trained, so it took just two days for her to fully settle into our home. She’s playful, affectionate, and has brought so much joy to our family. I honestly don’t know why no one ever told me that having a dog is pure happiness! Jami also provided all the necessary documents right away, and we were able to register Jasmine with no issues. Her certified pedigree confirmed champion bloodlines from every ancestor, including multiple U.S., U.K., and European champions and grand champions. We couldn’t be happier and are incredibly grateful to Jami for such a wonderful puppy!
