Why did you start breeding?
My family has a long history of breeding dogs. I started breeding poodles because of a deep love of the breed. What started as a passion for dogs, grew into a commitment to learning about health, structure, temperament, genetics and responsible breeding practices. One of the most rewarding things is seeing each puppy welcomed into a loving home, where they become a cherished family member.What makes your program special?
My breeding program is built on purpose, not just producing puppies. I focus on health testing, sound structure, stable temperaments, and intentional pairings to preserve and improve the miniature poodle breed. Puppies are raised in my home using principles from Puppy Culture, with early socialization, enrichment, and confidence-building to create well-rounded companions.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Dawn
Dawn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Dawn partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

“Price includes AKC registration papers, puppy started kit (blanket, toy, brush, food, etc.) Puppies have age appropriate vaccinations and have been examined by a veterinarian. A deposit reserves a puppy with choice of color, sex, and temperament matching.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
