I'm Joyce J., the breeder behind JoJo French Bulldogs located in Hamden, CT. Our goal is to ensure every dog from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life. We enjoy showing our dogs, and they are our companions in every adventure. We are invested in helping this breed thrive within the AKC Breed Standard and give our puppies the best lives, including proper health care, socialization, and finding them each wonderful, loving homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I show dogs and the natural progression is to breed in order to constantly work on breed preservation and improvement.
  • What makes your program special?

    I spend a lot of time learning and researching. It never ends. I want to have the healthiest and best french Bulldogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Joyce

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $4,750 - $6,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price varies on whether it's going to a pet or show home. Please complete the application completely. If you can't take the time to be thorough, then you won't have the time to care for a puppy! We refund 50% of the deposit.”

Contract & health guarantee

Joyce may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Spine (OFA, FCI)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
