I'm Sarah J., the breeder behind Jones’ Cane Corso located in Sumner, IA. Breeding my dogs I am focusing on health and temperament. I am responsible for ensuring that only the best sires and dams are used for our breeding program. No matter the outcome, these dogs are our family.
Q. & A. with Sarah
Why did you start breeding?
After a year of owning Freya, I made the decision to start getting into breeding. I had already fallen in love with the breed long ago and I wanted to have as many as I could. It was very important for me to have quality dogs and do health testing to ensure we are producing puppies who are healthy.
What makes your program special?
It is my intention to only breed with top-quality dogs that have gone through appropriate testing. I will not breed any male or female that falls short. I want to breed healthy puppies and help keep the breed around for a long time. My dogs are family and live in my home. I want them to have the best lives I can give them.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Fantastic breeder with fantastic puppies. Great communication throughout the process. Izzy is the best behaved puppy I have ever owned. Already socialized so well she adores children and goes to pieces when meeting new people. I can recommend this breeder enough.

They were very friendly and gave us all the information we needed and was very well with communication from the time we applied until even now… we are very happy we got Kyang he is super intelligent and are excited to see how he progresses through this life….
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
