Meet the breeder

I'm Aimee W., the breeder behind Journee Home Mini Schnauzers located in Hemet, CA. I do everything I can to develop health and well rounded puppies. I encourage learning, playing, and chewing. Pups will come Vet checked, tails docked, declaws removed, dewormed 2-3 times, first vaccines, microchipped, AKC registration, 2 yr guarantee, started on potty training and more.

Q. & A. with Aimee

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always had a huge love for all things dogs. My family used to call me the dog whisperer. My first schnauzer was purchased when I was 19 years old and I quickly realized this was the breed for me. She was literally my shadow and went everywhere with me. I knew I wanted more of this amazing breed and to help others find an amazing life long family member.
  • What makes your program special?

We hand raise our puppies and prefer to keep them until 10 weeks to be sure they leave us as ready and healthy. We also start all our puppies on potty training, crate training and the use of a dog door. We do not offer Merle genetics at this time.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include wheaten, white, parti, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Aimee made the process of adopting Willow so easy. She was responsive, gave regular and gave regular updates. From the updates you can tell how much she cares about her dogs. She went above and beyond by crate training and acclimating our puppy to new things which made the transition for Willow so easy. We love our puppy Willow so much and would recommend Aimee as a breeder to anyone who is looking for a new addition to their family. Thank you so much for bringing Willow into our life.
