Meet the breeder

I'm Joy & Stewart W., the breeder behind JoyBull Frenchies located in Hutchinson, KS. The health testing performed on our breeding pairs is second to none! This greatly reduces the risks of your puppy coming with a hereditary defect. We are passionate about breeding ONLY breed-standard pups. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and conformation. Our dams and sires are fully DNA tested and have undergone complete OFA health exams, before we breed. We love our puppies and dogs. Our dogs are our family and they live in the house with us where they are well socialized prior to being placed.

Q. & A. with Joy & Stewart

  • Why did you start breeding?

We love French Bulldogs and want to provide healthy and quality dogs for others. We wanted to be breeders that are making a contribution to help end the puppy mill industry. We have seen so many people end up getting scammed by buying overpriced mixed-breed dogs, that end up with a myriad of health issues later in life. We are dedicated to promoting responsible breeding for the well-being of our pups.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are bred to the breed standard as found in the French Bulldog Club of America, as well as the AKC French Bulldog standard, and are all, first and foremost, extensively health tested. The health testing performed on our breeding pairs, prior to being bred, is second to none! Our health testing results are available by looking into each of our sires and dams. Also, they are readily available to the public on ofa.org. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the Frenchie breed will continue to thrive for generations to come.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brindle, cream, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Joy & Stewart

Joy & Stewart has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,250 - $5,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price is dependent on whether the puppy will be pet-only or if you're wanting full AKC rights. NOTE: Full AKC rights puppies from us are very rare and will not be available for every puppy. Full AKC rights puppies will only be given with a very detailed co-ownership contract. We are very particular about who our puppies go to. We want to be sure the buyer is responsible and financially stable enough to care for our puppies. The deposit helps to eliminate those people who are just 'tire-kickers' from those who are seriously wanting a quality dog.”

Contract & health guarantee

Joy & Stewart may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Joy & Stewart offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Joy & Stewart directly.

Joy and Stewart were amazing to work with to get a puppy. They truly care about all of their babies (puppies and big dogs) and we couldn’t be happier with our little jewel, Lilo. We love receiving all the pictures and videos over the weeks as we waiting for Lilo to be old enough to travel and truly appreciate the time and early socialization she received to set her up for success when Lilo came home. Lilo is the cutest, smartest little brindle girl ever and we couldn’t be happier. She also immediately took to our older dog, Rolo, and take naps together daily. Their transparency with their breeding and the parents are what caught my eye and I’m so glad I found them. We plan to always use them for future babies and have already recommended them to friends and family! Thank you, Joy and Stewart for what you do.

Joy & Stewart go above and beyond as breeders and people! We did extensive research before choosing a breeder, had high expectations, and JoyBull Frenchies went above and beyond every single one. The do extensive health testing and talked us through the personalities of the litter. They communicated with us weekly - sharing updates, talking us through our pup's development, and patiently answering every question we had. We have a cat and it was important to me that our pup be socialized with cats before we brought him home and Joy and Stewart made it happen! Our pup came to us knowing his name, being so snuggly, friendly, outgoing and sleeps through the night! He and our cat are the best of friends. I cannot recommend JoyBull Frenchies enough and can't imagine my life without our new pup. We're thrilled to always be a part of the JoyBull family.

Joy & Stewart were terrific to work with! They made the whole process easy. I loved getting pictures and videos prior to pickup. Our little guy is healthy and happy. He already knew his name, to sit, and was mostly litter box trained when we brought him home! He came to us with a very generous health guarantee, AKC registered, and microchipped. He also came with a goodie bag which was greatly appreciated! They are happy to answer any questions you have. I researched extensively for a responsible breeder who breeds to the French bulldog standard. I am so thankful I found Joy & Stewart! 5⭐️

Joy and Stewart were the most amazing people to deal with in the whole process of getting our French Bulldog puppy. They walked us through the entire process from beginning to end and made it such a pleasure to deal with them. They would send us updates on the progress the puppies were making as the weeks passed and would send us the cutest videos and pictures of our little puppy as he was growing. They even had our puppy Gucci recognize his name and potty trained when he arrived! Joy and Stewart were the sweetest people ever! An overall fantastic experience for my family! Would recommend them 💯% to anyone looking to get a French Bulldog!
