I'm Sarah B., the breeder behind Joyful Pastures Homestead located in Candia, NH. We adore our Bernedoodles! We practice ethical breeding and our dogs are well loved. All puppies come with a certificate of health, first vaccinations, are dewormed, genetic health testing (through Paw Print Genetics), and furnishing tested. Ember/Mom is a tri-color furnished bernedoodle with an amazingly calm and loving temperament. She's always by our side and loves our children. Snoopy/Dad is a curly coat furnished bernedoodle with a cow pattern. He is a super happy and expressive dog with an amazing temperament and wonderful with our 10 children. This is Ember's 2nd litter, and all the puppies are doing amazing and growing well. They will be available for adoption after September 13th. All are tri-colored, and we will be testing to see why type of furnishings they have.

Why did you start breeding?
We love this breed and want to pass these amazing animals to other families.What makes your program special?
Our puppies come from a home where they are exposed to lots of love, farm animals, and children. We go above to have our puppies tested genetically for health and coat furnishings so that the buyer knows exactly what they are getting. All our puppies are tri-color, and the parents are in good health and well loved.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Sarah
Sarah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes first round of vaccinations, deworming, essential bernedoodle health panels test, and coat furnishings test, and vet health certificate. The deposit assures that the new owner will be able to adopt a puppy of their requested gender and coloring. Puppies that are phantom,tri-colors, and furnished will be 2,500. All others will be 2,000.”
Contract & health guarantee
Sarah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 12 Sept. •Embark has started the DNA extraction, so it will be around a week before the results come back. Thank you to all who have patiently waited for these results.

Litter update on 08 Sept. •…Hi All! I'm just giving a little update. As some of you know, we had to switch genetic test companies because of them being backlogged and tariff issues. We paid for rush shipping, and the new company should be providing the results any day now. I'll message you all the results as soon as they come in. Im so sorry that it's taking so long, and thank you for being understanding. All the puppies are doing great! They passed the fecal test last week, and we are looking forward to getting their health certificates on Monday the 15th.

DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We got Rio(aka Bandit) at 9 weeks old. He was already well socialized and was great around new humans and dogs. Almost felt like he was already potty trained too! Gave us a bit of trouble with crate training early but Sarah calmly allayed all our concerns. She also went above and beyond with information on puppy needs and care.

Sarah was so wonderful to work with. She quickly set up a video call so I could see my prospective puppy and I fell in love immediately. Sarah listened to my concerns about needing a hypoallergenic coat for my allergy-sensitive stepson. There was never any pressure and she quickly responded to any questions I had along the way. She was 100% transparent about our puppy and her parents and had all the appropriate documents and vet check available. She was willing to drive halfway to meet me which was super convenient. I had such a wonderful experience with Sarah. We have two beautiful Bernadoodle puppies from her litter and they are perfect!
