I'm Joy O., the breeder behind Joy's Happy Havanese located in High Point, NC. What started as a personal passion for the Havanese breed naturally grew into a small breeding program focused on health, temperament, and love. My dogs are not kennel dogs — they are my companions and part of my family. They live in my home, spend their days by my side, and sleep in my bed.

Why did you start breeding?
My journey with the Havanese breed began simply because I fell completely in love with their personalities. Their affectionate nature, intelligence, and joyful spirit made such an impact on me that I knew I wanted to share this amazing breed with other families.What makes your program special?
What makes my breeding program special is that my Havanese dogs are truly family, not kennel dogs. They live in my home, sleep in my bed, and are loved every day. I keep my program intentionally small, with only 1–2 litters per year, so every dog and puppy receives the individual attention, care, and socialization they deserve.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and white, cream, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Joy

Price
“Price includes vet visit at 6 weeks of age for thorough exam and first shots. Puppy will come with starter, age-appropriate training, a puppy starter kit and 2-year genetic health guarantee. The deposit holds a specific puppy of your choice until the age the puppy can leave it's Mom.”
