I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stephanie and Anthony at Juniper Grove Havanese. From my very first message, they responded with warmth, patience, transparency, and genuine care. It was immediately clear that they are not simply breeders — they are deeply committed caretakers who love their dogs and puppies as family. Throughout the entire process, Stephanie and Anthony were thoughtful and communicative. They took the time to answer every question I had, from personality and feeding routines to potty training, sleep habits, car rides, socialization, and how to make the transition home as smooth and comforting as possible. As someone bringing home my first puppy in many years, their guidance meant so much to me. They never made me feel rushed or silly for asking detailed questions. Instead, they were reassuring, kind, and incredibly thorough. What stood out most was how clearly they prioritize the wellbeing of their puppies. They were intentional about finding the right home, not just the next available home. They cared about fit, timing, bonding, and what would be best for the puppy emotionally and practically. When I shared concerns about an upcoming trip, they responded with compassion and even offered to help care for him while we were away so that the adoption could still work in a way that felt right for everyone. That level of flexibility and care is rare. They also went above and beyond by accommodating pickup in Irvine, which was much closer and easier for me than traveling to the Los Angeles area or farther north. Since they happened to be attending a conference near pickup day, they thoughtfully worked with me to make the handoff as convenient as possible. It was such a generous and appreciated gesture. When pickup day arrived, they sent Bastian home with an incredibly thoughtful care bag that included at least a week’s worth of essentials: food, toys, pee pads, poop bag refills, a poop bag holder, blankets, vaccination and vet records, and other helpful items to support his transition. It was obvious that every detail had been considered with love. Most importantly, Bastian came to us happy, social, affectionate, and clearly well-loved. His sweet personality is a reflection of the care, attention, and early socialization he received with Stephanie and Anthony. They prepared him beautifully for his new home and continued to show how much they cared even after the decision was made. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Juniper Grove Havanese. Stephanie and Anthony are compassionate, responsible, knowledgeable, and genuinely loving breeders. Anyone fortunate enough to bring home one of their puppies will immediately understand how much heart they put into what they do. I am overwhelmingly grateful for the experience and would recommend them without hesitation.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to Stephanie and her husband for their attentiveness, care, and warmth toward this litter of Havanese puppies! They consistently sent me updates about my little guy’s progress, including growth, personality traits, and socialization. I fell in love with Wrigley before I met him in person! I know his first few months with Juniper Grove Havanese were a big part of developing Wrigley’s sweet, funny, and loving demeanor. Thank you, Stephanie, for my best friend, Wrigley! 💕
