Meet the breeder

I'm Hannah L., the breeder behind Juniper Mountain Goldens located in Mount Pleasant, UT. Our puppies are one-of-a-kind! Raised in the mountains among children and other pets, their free-range mountain upbringing helps give them a calm, zen-like energy as well as conditioning them for promising futures in therapy/ESA, companionship, hunting, Search and Rescue. No kennels are used here!

Q. & A. with Hannah

  • Why did you start breeding?

We breed standard doodles because we love Golden Retrievers and want to retain the temperament and traits of that breed as much as possible while having a more hypoallergenic coat.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are raised on the rugged slopes of the Wasatch Mountain range, without fences and plenty of space to explore and roam. Having space to roam in nature during the day sharpens the natural instincts of our puppies as they learn to follow their leaders, stay close to home, and come when called. We select our breeding pairs for keen instincts, solid health, calm temperament, and beauty!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
