I'm Whitney C., the breeder behind Juniper Ridge Poodles & Goldendoodles located in Parkersburg, WV. Our dogs are chosen specifically for our program with temperament, intelligence, health and structure taken into consideration. Parent dogs are fully health tested, have earned temperament titles and been evaluated professionally before breeding. Pups are raised in home as part of our family.
Q. & A. with Whitney
Why did you start breeding?
Growing up, my parents bred & showed Shelties & I loved being part of that. I wanted my own program in the future but waited for the right time & breeds. In 2010 I met my first Goldendoodle & the rest is history. Over the years we’ve proven ourselves to be breeders with integrity & high standards. We know that to produce excellent dogs we must consider temperament, soundness, structure & pedigree.
What makes your program special?
We believe our puppies are out of this world because of the care taken in selecting the very best dogs for our program and raising our puppies well. Our breeding dogs must pass structural evaluations, uphold our temperament requirements and meet a variety of standards before being considered a breeding prospect. They must be confident, human focused, trainable, kind and have an innate off switch.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
