I'm Kaitlyn J., the breeder behind Just Us Frenchies located in Port St Lucie, FL. Our dogs are bred for improving upon the health and functional confirmation of the French Bulldog while maintaining the amazing personalities that they are widely known and loved for! Each of my dogs is loved as a pet first whether with me or in a guardian home.

Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with the personality of the French Bulldog, but was wary about the health concerns. So when I began looking for a puppy and realized just how rampant the poor health of the breed was here in the states which led me to look overseas. I know that not everyone can go through the process of importing from another country, so I saw the need for a healthier Frenchie here in the US.What makes your program special?
That I focus on health, athletic confirmation, and temperament while also still catering to the demand for "off-standard" colors. Also, being a trainer I understand a lot of the training and temperament issues new Frenchie owners face. So my puppies go home started on crate training, potty training (outside, not on pads), socialization, and handling. I also raise my puppies with ENS and Avidog.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle, fawn, fawn and white, brindle and white, black and white, tricolors, white and fawn, blue fawn, blue, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Parent health testing
Good level
Just Us Frenchies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for French Bulldogs.
Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Spine (OFA, FCI)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
