I'm Katana J., the breeder behind K & S Schnauzers located in Pearland, TX. At K&S Schnauzers, we are dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized Schnauzers that become cherished members of their families. Our puppies are raised in our home with children and other animals, receiving daily love, attention, and early socialization as puppies.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I was introduced to breeding through family/a mentor who taught me the importance of responsible breeding, health testing, and raising dogs with intention. I also discovered how much I enjoy the hands-on work—raising puppies in my home, socializing them early, and matching them with the right families.

  • What makes your program special?

    My puppies are raised in my home, not a kennel, so they’re exposed early to everyday sounds, people, kids, and other dogs. This helps create confident, well-adjusted puppies. I prioritize the health of my dogs through proper care, veterinary oversight, early vaccinations, worming, and a health guarantee.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Miniature Schnauzer puppies include white, parti, liver, black and silver, salt and pepper, and black. Giant Schnauzer puppies include pepper and salt and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Katana

Katana has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Katana partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“The price includes LIMITED AKC registration, first set of vaccinations (6-week), health guarantee and puppy items (bowl, leash, collar, puppy pads, blanket, bed and toys). Deposit is REQUIRED to hold puppy and is non-refundable.”

Katana may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     We had a great experience getting our Giant puppy from Katana at K & S Schnauzers. From the beginning, communication was prompt and helpful, and we loved the regular social media updates and puppy photos before pick up.
