Meet the breeder

I'm Matthew K., the breeder behind K9 Guardian Cane Corso located in Jeffersonville, KY. I am a proud and dedicated breeder looking to produce quality Cañí Corsi. My goal is to produce healthy puppies with proper temperaments for both working dogs and regular pets.

Q. & A. with Matthew

  • Why did you start breeding?

After becoming disabled, I decided to train my own service dog. While talking to several potential schools, I realized the importance of choosing a puppy with an appropriate temperament. I understood the need for the early “Puppy Imprinting”. I realized the need for good and responsible dog breeders who can assist in a choice of proper temperament working dogs for disabled and regular pet owners.
  • What makes your program special?

My goal is to produce healthy puppies with proper temperaments for both working dogs and regular pets. My dogs are health guaranteed as per my contract. Because I graduated from the comprehensive 6-month resident program at the Tom Rose professional Dog Trainer School, and I am certified to select and train working dogs, I am able to match potential dog owners with the right puppy for the job.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include gray and fawn, black, black brindle, fawn, gray, and gray brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Matthew was INCREDIBLE to work with. He was very understanding and informative. This was not our first Cane Corso, but the experience we had with him was well worth the cost. I never felt like I was being pushed or that he was trying to cheat me and my wife. Our puppy was very beautiful. He told us how gentle and friendly she was, and he was 100% correct. My family loves her to death and she loves us and it shows! If I ever want to purchase another Corso I do not think I would go anywhere else. You can feel how much his pups mean to him. He walked us through every detail of her journey, he also provided a very detailed diet and recipes. Thank you Matthew for working with us to make sure we got the right fit for our home. She is more than perfect in every way!!!

We purchased a Cane Corso from Matt. The process was easy and the dog is just one of the most beautiful dogs I’ve ever seen. We love Roxie, she’s giant at 120lbs now. This is literally the best dog that’s ever been in my life and family. We love her so much!
