Meet the breeder

I'm Katie F., the breeder behind Kadence Kennels located in Mount Pleasant, SC. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation and athleticism. We are committed to finding homes where they will be loved and can thrive with their natural instincts. If you are looking for an incredible companion to share your life with, look no further.

Q. & A. with Katie

  • Why did you start breeding?

We fell in love with the breed 8 years ago when searching for a family pet. We purchased our first Bedlington, and with our breeder's encouragement, checked out a nearby Bedlington Terrier Club of America sponsored event. Upon meeting so many breed smitten individuals, we fell even more in love with joining this community.
  • What makes your program special?

I enjoy every moment with my dogs and have the skills, patience and professional flexibility to be at home. My male and female dog are healthy, well tempered and each possess complimentary assets. Breeding was a natural next step to provide others with the life changing opportunity to own this special breed whom both derived from the sound pedigree of Jasada Bedlingtons.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include liver and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Katie was amazing to work with. She has been super helpful through our process of owning a bedlington terrier, and educated us on grooming, care, and health. She has always been very responsive and has kept in touch over the year. And of course we love our bedlington! He is perfect and all we could have asked for! I highly recommend kadence kennels.

Kadence Kennels was AMAZING. Katie talked me through the process, takes excellent care of the pups, and was so kind. My bedlington, Benny, could sit and lie down the day I picked him up (he was also practically potty trained). She matched the perfect dog to me based on my lifestyle and needs. I would recommend her to anyone looking to add a bedlington to their life.
