I'm Heather K., the breeder behind Kallis Family Frenchies located in Sanford, ME. All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy, healthy pets for those seeking the best family companion! We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. Start potty training, sound and tactile sensory worked on. Bred for health, not color🙂.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I've always wanted to breed but I was busy volunteering for the shelter by taking in their pregnant dogs. I stopped that for a bit, to breed my own baby.

  • What makes your program special?

    I breed for health, large nares and a fuller muzzle. I do everything I can to get my babies ready for a new family. Start potty training, expose them to as many different sounds and new experiences i can. Socialized constantly. I start with basic behavior training. I was a certified groomer and dog trainer, plus I have years of experience with all types of animals.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Heather

Heather has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,700 - $6,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Heather may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS), Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Animal Genetics Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
