Meet the breeder

I'm Rebecca G., the breeder behind Kanna Belgian Tervuren located in Clay County, FL. We strive to produce beautiful, healthy, and sound Belgian Tervurens with a focus on exceptional working ability and biddable temperament. Q. & A. with Rebecca

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding after actively raising, training, and show/competing with my Tervuren. After much research I bred my first litter with my new kennel line prefix. Previously I had co-bred litters with other experienced Tervuren breeders and learned valuable lessons and techniques from them all. These experiences helped me outline exactly what I wanted my own line to represent and become.
  • What makes your program special?

My puppies learn how to overcome obstacles and use their brains at a very young age. I use ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) to help give them a head start in different areas of bio-sensor such as thermal and tactile stimulation, motion and locomotion. I follow the Puppy Culture Protocols. The puppies learn to offer behaviors and impulse control between 3-5 weeks. Once they are more food motivated, they begin “brain games” and are introduced into different stimulus to help socialize them for their lives ahead.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn and black and mahogany and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
