I'm Kelvin W., the breeder behind Kannan's Legendary Kennels located in King George, VA. We breed high-quality, working-line Czech German Shepherds for affordable prices. We breed for temperament and dark pigmentation. We have many years of experience and education in breeding healthy and happy German Shepherds with fantastic drives. We are dedicated to preparing our puppies to thrive as their best selves, and we strive for quality and excellence with everything that we do!

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with well-known American black saddle-back German Shepherds. I had an uncle who retired from the military, and he brought home a Czech bloodline Shepherd for personal protection. Once I saw the capabilities of the Shepherd, I was hooked. I began to look into the working line German Shepherds, did research on bloodlines, and purchased my first stud. The rest is history!What makes your program special?
We have high-quality working line German Shepherds for affordable prices. Our pups are suitable for sport and pet homes as well as personal protection. We breed for temperament and dark pigmentation and have breeding pairs to create mid to high-drive dogs. Our beautiful pups are sure to make loving companions for your family for many years to come!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
