I'm Karen F., the breeder behind Karen's English Springer Spaniels located in Kernville, CA. All dogs are health checked for hereditary problems with all vaccines and health screenings on schedule. Temperaments are of primary importance and are guaranteed. We are a small California based show kennel breeding puppies for the purpose of excelling in meeting the breed standard. These puppies are of the highest quality and we are well informed about the backgrounds of our lineage for multiple generations.

Why did you start breeding?
I started with our first family springer in 1974 and bred champion producing litters through the early nineties. Our recent litters are even more promising and absolutely guaranteed to be loving and healthy companions for you and your family.What makes your program special?
Quality, quality, and more quality. Unfortunately, many health conditions are hereditary. These can be chronic, expensive and shorten the life of your beloved pet. Of course, not all health conditions can be predicted, but, we do our best to prevent unnecessary heartache and loss for those conditions which are foreseeable and preventable. We invest in the best, and so should you.

Charlotte is just stunning. She has done a lot of winning in the showring winning best in sweepstakes puppy at springer specialty show and is well toward earning her championship. She is the half sister to the number one winning bitch in the country, and is a loving and devoted companion at home. She is taking time off from her show career to rear her first litter for us at Roundtree.

Leo is a sweet guy who is a linebred blend of very prestigious old Salilyn kennel lines, from the USA, and Cleavehill lines from UK, blended in to modern number one breed winning new lines. He is gentle with excellent bird sense. He has his health clearances for OFA for hips and is certified eye clear. He finished his championship with specialty and all breed wins. His sister one the East coast has produced many champions. He has a beautiful, soft spaniel expression and gets along with all dogs on the property. He was bred for excellent breed type in personality and hunting instinct.

Lily is our Champion English Springer Spaniel brood bitch. More than that, she is our beloved pet and couch sitter. She is the most loving and obedient springer we have ever had, and also a top winner in the show ring. She has gone best of opposite sex, and best in specialty sweepstakes at springer spaniel specialty shows. She has good hips certified eyes, and is DNA negative carrier for PRA. Her puppy has also won best in sweepstakes at a springer specialty. We are excited about what the future holds for her kids.
