Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
I believe that purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy progression of the Beagle. It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come!
What makes your program special?
I am a premier breeder of Beagles. I do not breed my dogs unless they are healthy, have great conformation, and good disposition. Each litter is lovingly hand-raised by me from birth until they leave with their forever families. While many of my dogs have made exceptional show prospects, all of them have become excellent family dogs and lifelong friends! Most of the sires and dams have completed their championship and attended other active competitive classes such as scent and obedience classes. All my pups attend wkly comformation classes to help ensure their social activities and learn to lead beside thier owners.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
