At Kauai Poodles our puppies are raised as part of our family, with a strong focus on health, temperament, and early socialization. Why did you start breeding?
I got into breading with my youngest daughter. When we got our dog, maya, we fell in love with her at first sight and knew we wanted to bring the love she brought to us to others.What makes your program special?
Our puppies receive hands-on, individualized care to prepare them for life in loving homes. We focus on early neurological stimulation, initial housetraining and leash training, and sit training at every meal. Each puppy is well-socialized, intelligent, and given a detailed personality assessment to ensure the best match for your family.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, cafe au lait, cream, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Deborah
Deborah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Deborah partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We guarantee socialization, bath training, edge training, pre-housebreaking, parvo vaccination and deworming. We offer Choice of puppies within the litter in the order of Deposits received. If there are no remaining puppies you like in the current litter, you will have top pick of the next one.”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
