We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding through our love of our pet and first Great Dane Ms. Pepper Potts.What makes your program special?
What makes our program special is our relationship with our dogs, and our prospective families who purchase from us. We believe in health testing and improving on the breed and our blood lines with every breeding. Our dogs all live in our house or in a guardian home where they are truly a member of the family and adequately loved and cared for like they should be.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate, blue brindle, mantle merle, brindle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Parent health testing
KD Sweet Southern Danes reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Great Danes.
Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
